Rumours are never scarce in the Disney community, but sometimes you read about things that seem likely to happen.

Here are the latest whispers courtesy of Disney Gossip…

Thanks to higher than expected room occupancy the Magic Kingdom is pushing ahead with its upgrade programme. Workers have been fixing building facades and support pillars throughout the park all year, but that’s just the beginning.

On the cards is a quick refurb of Space Mountain and a new Little Mermaid attraction for Fantasyland. Also rumoured is the potential relocation of some of Fantasyland’s attractions as well as a general makeover to the facades throughtout the Land.

The new What Will You Celebrate? campaign kicks off in 2009 and each park will get a new street party; potentially the Magic Kingdom will have a cavalcade from Town Square to the Hub and back.

Once again the 3 o’clock parade will get a mini-makeover with a new float or two and some new music.
