Walt Disney World Christmas Day parade to be open to all

Magic Kingdom

It is being reported that all visitors to the Magic Kingdom park will be able to see the taping of this year’s Christmas Day Parade which is scheduled for December 5 and 6, 2008.

Tickets for past parades have been reserved for Annual Pass holders with remaining tickets distributed by Lightship Entertainment. This year all guests will be able to take part in the filming, space permitting of course.

The parade taping involves long waits so if you plan on heading over to the Magic Kingdom to watch be prepared to spend some time just standing around. The floats are often stopped and restarted and performers will have to repeat their routines while proper camera placement is being worked out.

Disney has yet to announce which celebrities will be appearing in this year’s production but I’ll post an update when they do.

P.S. Do you want to know the secret to being able to get the most out of your Disney World vacation? It's the one thing that the majority of guests don't know about, but that can allow you to see more in one morning than everyone else can experience in their entire trip. Click here to find out more
