Dream it

If you’re lucky enough to be visiting Walt Disney World on the Fourth of July there are going to be plenty of opportunities for you to salute America’s independence in style.

Magic Kingdom:
Over at the Magic Kingdom you’ll be treated to the firework spectacular ‘Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky’. This tribute to the United States, its people and traditions will feature a display of aerial fireworks, pyrotechnic effects and music. The show is scheduled for 9 p.m – try the planters outside the Crystal Palace or the bridge towards Tomorrowland for a good view of this Concert in the Sky.

Epcot:
At EPCOT the usual nightly fireworks, “Illuminations: Reflections of Earth.” will feature a holiday-inspired finale. Be sure to visit the American Adventure pavilion during the day for some Independence Day entertainment featuring visits from historic characters who will share their stories.

Hollywood Studios:
If you decide to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios you’ll be treated to skyrockets and patriotic music as part of their special July 4th fireworks show at 9 p.m.

Downtown Disney:
If the thought of holiday crowds fills you with dread you can avoid the parks altogether and head to Downtown Disney for a special Independence Day fireworks show at 10:30 p.m.
