The Wizarding World of Harry Potter update

I don’t know about you but I am looking forward to visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure theme park when it finally opens.

According to Internet sources there are going to be two main areas, Hogwarts and the Hogsmeade Village – and both the Duelling Dragons and the Flying Unicorn coasters are going to be part of the new world.

The Flying Unicorn is going to be bewitched into a new kid friendly Flight of the Hippogriff while Duelling Dragons will become Dragon Challenge.

The main attraction will be inside the Hogwarts Castle and will be called Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey – creators will use robocoaster technology to send us on a trip through the Forbidden Forest in a flying car!

Once we work up an appetite exploring the magical new world we’ll have options to dine at the Three Broomsticks, Magic Neep, or Butterbeer. We’ll also be able to shop at Zonko’s, Owl Post, Ollivanders, Honeydukes, and Dervish and Banges.
