The Pirates League coming to Magic Kingdom

Little girls have been pampered and preened and turned into Little Princesses at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique for a while now, but it’s not really a place where little boys want to hang out on vacation. Well, all that is about to change with the introduction of The Pirates League, a new attraction coming to the Magic Kingdom in June 2009 that will turn your little ones (boys and girls) into pirates!

Captain Jack and the crew of the Black Pearl will be dropping anchor in Adventureland for The Pirates League where they’ll be recruiting and training park guests of all ages in the mutinous ways of buccaneers. When you check into the recruitment office you’ll be given an official pirate name before heading to the Muster Station where you’ll grow a beard and don an eye-patch, head-scarf, earrings and gold teeth. Before long you’ll forget your true identity as you become a pirate for real.

Behind a hidden portal you’ll find a treasure den where you’ll speak the pirate oath and have your official Pirate Portrait taken before being turned lose into Adventureland to stagger along as a fully fledged pirate.

This new programme is available to boys and girls and even grownups. To sign up call 407-WDW-CREW from May 11, 2009. Packages start at $49.95 plus tax.
