Studio DC: Almost live – the Muppets return to our tv screens

US readers should put August 3 in their diaries as the date that the Muppets make a return to US television screens in their new half-hour, music-filled sketch comedy show: Studio DC: Almost Live.
The show will feature many of the Disney Channel’s usual stars -- and a few surprise guests. Celebrities billed so far include Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Ashley Tisdale, Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Brenda Song and Phill Lewis. Your favourite Muppets; Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, and Fozzie Bear will also be returning.
Studio DC: Almost Live premieres @ 8PM ET/PT on Sunday, August 3 on the Disney Channel.
