Safari of Fun at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay


If your kids are fans of Sesame Street then you’ll want to make plans to visit Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in 2010 in time for heir all new attraction the Safari of Fun.

This family friendly playground will feature Elmo, Big Bird and their Sesame Street friends and will be packed full of rides, shows and African adventures.

Coaster fans will love the Air Grover – a junior roller coaster designed for parents and kids to enjoy together. Kids will also enjoy the Zoe-Patra & the Hippos of the Nile flume ride, the Elmo’s Safari Go-Round carousel and the Rosita’s Djembe Fly-Away swing ride. Your little ones can cool off and run off steam at Bert & Ernie’s Water Hole or Oscar’s Swamp Stomp.

“Sesame Street Safari of Fun will be a fantastic addition to Busch Gardens,” said Donnie Mills, Busch Gardens’ executive vice president and general manager. “With Sesame Street Safari of Fun, Busch Gardens truly has something for all ages, and this new destination in the park is certain to be a hit among families and kids.”

Other attractions include a photography studio where kids can pose with their Sesame Street friends, a musical performance, a 4D movie and character breakfast and lunch.

This new Sesame Street themed area will take the place of the Land of the Dragons.
