- And we're off! Managed to snag two seats on the train which I'd heaving and very warm
think we gave remembered everything… # - Successfully navigated the underground with cases in tow. Now waiting for the Gatwick Express to leave Victoria. #
- Just been talked into paying £50 extra (each) for fire exit seats. Daylight robbery but after nine hrs we'll be thankful! #
- Had planned to eat in pizza express at the airport. Seems to now be a wh smith so we're in wetherspoons instead. Oh and the footie is on! #
- So the bus to our hotel at the south terminal goes via the north terminal. We drove right past it! Where's the logic in that then? #
- @ThingsMomsLike we're heading out to wdw tomoro and I plan on tweeting a live trip report. Land is tiny in comparison. Planning is key. in reply to ThingsMomsLike #
- Marriott courtyard at gatwick south is very swish. Shame our room looks out over the lobby! #

I hate hotel beds. Can never get comfy and it was warm so lee snored all night and kept waking me up! Woke up with a v stuffy nose #
Up and about earlier than planned. Going to avoid the overpriced hotel breakfast and try frankie and bennies at the terminal. #
