Contempo Café now open at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Guests staying at Disney‘s Contemporary Resort can now eat at the newly opened Contempo Café. This new eatery has taken the fourth floor space originally occupied by the Concourse Steakhouse which closed earlier this year. The Contempo Café is designed for guests who want to grab a quick snack rather than enjoy a full-service sit-down meal.

In keeping with the hotel’s Contemporary theme guests at the Contempo Café will order their food using a self-service touch screen. Of course Disney has made every effort to anticipate any request you might make. for example the Caesar Salad gives you the option of having the dressing mixed in with the greens, on the side, or not at all. Hamburger orders come with the choice of four cheeses. Prices change according to your choices and a running total is shown on the screen so you can keep track of how much you’ve spent. Once your selections are complete you will be presented with a receipt which you then take to the cashier. It all sounds like a great idea and maybe something that will be rolled out to other restaurants if it proves to be successful.

There is also a market area for refrigerated items, fruit and bakery items.

Opening Hours:

Grab & Go only (no kitchen preparation): 6:00am – 12 midnight

Breakfast: 7:00am – 11:00am

Lunch: 11:00am – 10:00pm (lunch items are available through dinner hours)

Dinner: 5:00pm – 10:00pm
