A Pirate’s Life for Me – Haunted Pirate’s Cruise

Wishes: A Magical Gathering of Disney DreamsImage via Wikipedia

If you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World during October and you have pirate loving kids aged between 5 and 12 then this activity will be perfect for them.

The Haunted Pirate Cruise will set sail from the Polynesian Resort at 8.15pm on October 13, 16, 19, 21, 23, 24, 26, 28, 30 and 31 destined for haunted islands (otherwise known as the marinas on the Seven Seas Lagoon!).

Each cruise lasts for an hour and 45 minutes and shipmates on board will be treated to ghost stories, games with prizes and a great view of the Magic Kingdom’s Happy HalloWishes fireworks. Each pirate will also receive pirate Mickey ears, a pirate name tag, a photo and some candy.

This new attraction is similar to the Pirate Adventure Cruise that sets sail from the Grand Floridian on select mornings – but this Halloween-themed alternative has some special added extras and the added spook factor offered by sailing in the dark!

Tickets for the Haunted Pirate Cruise are $31.95 and must be held with a credit card by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.

The Happy HalloWishes fireworks are really spectacular, so while you wait for your little pirates to return consider grabbing a hammock down on the beach at the Poly to enjoy the show yourself.
