Disney’s All Star Sports Resort – Perfect for sports fans!

The All Star Sports Resort was the first of the Value Resorts and has 1,920 rooms across ten buildings. The Resort opened in May 1994, and all buildings feature larger than life sports icons including giant bats and balls, Coca-Cola cups and huge surfboards.

The Buildings available here are: Touchdown! (football theme), Homerun Hotel (baseball theme), Surfs Up! (beach theme) Center Court (tennis theme) and Hoops Hotel (basketball theme).

Where is the resort?

The resort is located in the Animal Kingdom Resort Area on West Buena Vista Drive just west of World Drive. The complimentary Disney Bus service is the only form of Disney transport offered at this resort.

What amenities will I have access to?

The Resort center is known as Stadium Hall and it is home to:
• check in and guest services,
• the End Zone food court,
• gift shop,
• video games arcade and
• playground.

The Resort also offers free parking, a pizza delivery service, laundry facilities and daily housekeeping.

The End Zone Food Court has a wide range of Quick Service foods including hamburgers and ribs, pasta and pizza, bakery items, suit and kid’s meals.

What are the swimming pools like?

There are two pools: the Surfboard Bay and the Grand Slam pool. The Surfboard Bay pool includes a kid’s area and the Team Spirits pool bar.

There are also play areas for children scattered around the Resort including an area for touch football and an area with large Xs and Os to play on.

What are the rooms like?

Rooms at the Sports Resort are brightly coloured with a sports theme. Your room will have one king sized bed or two double beds.
The rooms are the smallest – and least expensive – on Disney property at 260 square feet. You might overlook the parking lot, the courtyard or the pool area. All rooms at this resort open to exterior hallways.

Rooms sleep a maximum of four people and one child under three in a crib. While you might manage with two adults and two small children four adults might find the room uncomfortable. The room rate is low enough for you to consider adjoining rooms instead of all trying to cram into one.

You can choose between Standard and Preferred rooms; the Preferred rooms are located in Surfs Up! which is closest to the bus stops, Stadium Hall and the End Zone Food Court.

High Speed Internet Access is available for a daily charge and a cable is available in your room.

You can also rent a fridge for the duration of your stay – just ask at the front desk when you check in.
