We have a trip planned for March this year so I’m slightly gutted to read that the all-new Star Tours: The Adventures Continue is set to re-open on May 20,2011!
Star Wars Weekends have been pencilled in for Fridays Saturdays and Sundays from May 20 through June 12 and while the full schedule is yet to be released Anthony Daniels (C-3PO himself) will be attending for the first two weekends. Ashley Eckstein (the voice of Ahsoka Tona in Star Wars: The Clone Wars) will be the Celebrity Host for each of the weekends.
Anthony Daniels will be cutting the ribbon on the much anticipated 3D Star Tours: The Adventures Continue on May 20.
There’s no word yet as to whether George Lucas himself will visit the attraction during Star Wars Weekends, but he has tested out the Disneyland version of the attraction, that’s him pictured up there with C-3PO.

My family and I are going to be in Disney for Star wars weekend this May. my husband and son are giant fans so we are all very excited. We will be there for the First weekend and the Friday of the next! I will keep you posted about the rides and the event!
